HEYS HEADING FOR THE COUNTIES

Within the last hour Heys have been informed that their application to join the North West Counties League has been approved.

The news was broken by Manchester League Secretary Phil Platt and caps a fantastic week for the club.

Heys last played in the League 30 years ago and have made no secret of their ambition to return there in recent years.

At last, the wait is over semi -professional football is on it's way back to Prestwich !
