Heys v Old Alts - Saturday 19th April, Sandgate Road, 2pm.

Heys title push continues on Saturday when Old Alts visit Grimshaw Park in a match of huge significance for both clubs.

With Royton and Hindsford without games, a victory for Heys would put them top of the table with four games left to play.

Meanwhile, Old Alts must win to have any hope of staying up. The visitors looked doomed a week ago but will go into the game with hope renewed after ending a run of seven straight defeats with a 2-0 win at Stockport Georgians on Tuesday night.

Whilst, that result helped Heys, Jon Lyons men will be in no mood to return the favour. Three points are a must for Heys ahead of a challenging last four matches.

It's a game that will also attract interest from a host of teams in the division. The clutch of sides battling for the title will be hoping Alts can stop Heys run. Meanwhile, clubs near the foot of the table, such as Rochdale Sacred Heart, Manchester Gregorians and East Manchester will be looking for a Prestwich victory to condemn Alts to the drop.

When the teams met early in the season at Crossford Bridge, Heys ran out 2-0 winners in a game in which Heys young guns announced their arrival on the scene as a side containing five 17 year old's ran out winners.

A similar result will be Heys sole target come two o'clock Saturday.
