Heys add striker Blake to squad

Heys have added striker Ashford Blake to their squad ahead of the end of season run in.

Blake, who can also play centre half, joins on loan from Radcliffe Borough but it is more widely known for his part in the success of Prestwich F.C. in recent seasons.

His signing follows last week's additions of goalkeeper Steve Dryden, who is also on loan from NW Counties Alsager Town and new striker signing Valdes Travares, who was unattached but signed after successful trials.

Heys boss Jon Lyons, in welcoming the new recruits, said " All three will add competition for places and I was particularly keen to pep things up in attack with Ben Lever, Paul Tierney and Chris Denham having been unavailable".
