Fixture Changes: Heys to host Hollinwood this Saturday

Heys will host Hollinwood this Saturday in a pre-season friendly at Sandgate Road, kick off 2pm.

The Manchester League 1st Division side, managed by former Heys player and manager Liam Morrissey, have stepped into the breach after scheduled opponents Stoneclough withdrew.

The change is one of two, with the other being the cancellation of the Atherton Charity Cup game at Hindley Town next Monday.

Hindley, were unable to raise a team at Hindsford last night and have withdrawn from the competiton.

This means Heys and Hindsford have both qualified for the last eight and will meet at Sandgate Road next Thursday to effectively decide who gets a home draw in the quarter finals.
