First half spree sinks Georgians

Heys Reserves maintained their six point lead at the top of the table with a 4-1 win over Stockport Georgians Reserves at Adie Moran Park today.

The damage was done in the first half hour in which Heys scored all four of their goals.

Steve Charles (pictured) continued his prolific form with two whilst Martin Love and Ryan Cain were also on the mark.

Georgians arrived on the back of three successive wins and gained some consolation with a late goal to take some of the gloss of another impressive victory for Jeff Kavanagh's side.

The game also saw Shaun Johnson and Luke Hodson make their comebacks from lengthy injury absences.
