CLUB STATEMENT : Forged Bank Notes

The Club has been targeted by an individual or others with forged £20 Bank Notes in recent months.

The most recent occurrence was last Saturday’s match with Eccleshall. In total £360.00 has been lost by the club over the past few months.

At Saturday’s game one note found it’s way into the referee’s expenses causing embarrassment for both him and the club.

This regular occurrence means, sadly, that this is either a member of our club or a regular supporter who is committing this act.

We are taking increased steps to root out this problem and we will prosecute if we identify the culprit(s).

Those responsible obviously do not share our club’s values and have no real allegiance to us. You are not welcome at Prestwich Heys.
