CLUB STATEMENT

Heys can today confirm changes to the governance and structure of the club which will come into effect at end of the current season.

The new structure of the club will see the overall management of the club, finance and strategy governed by a Management Board.

The Board will provide the framework for the day to day operation of the club which will continue to be carried out by the committee.

The Board will comprise two Financial Directors and three trustees of the club. The Financial Directors will be former players and local businessmen Nick Kingston and Mike McMahon who will join the club at the end of the playing season. The trustees will be Martin Johnston, Neil Sankey and Stephen Howard.

John Carroll remains as Club Chairman working with the Board and the Committee.

The club are confident the new structure will herald a brighter future. The changes will bring investment into the club, securing its immediate future and the funding for ground improvements required to try and help fulfil Heys long stated ambition to progress up the Non League Football pyramid.
